I’m a homegrown photographer from this lovely state of Colorado. Photography first caught my eye when I was shy little me in high school and just starting to experiment with the arts. I was introduced to the “old school” black and white film photography, which immediately grabbed my attention. Maybe it was the alluring aroma of the chemicals or just chillin’ in the dark but I was hooked.
Eventually, like most things, I evolved and shelled out a pretty penny for my first digital camera. Shortly after, I enrolled in art school earning my AAS in photography and learning some very valuable lessons along the way. Since then, I’ve been kicking butts and taking names, but really just running my own photography business on the side. In the last year I have found new inspiration and a new perspective on life, which has opened doors that I never knew existed.
My adventure here so far has shown me that in life there is a need for balance in some form or another, however, I look for contrast in everything. Reality is what you make of it and your perspective on life. As a photographer I am always observing my reality and I feel as though I view this world as one might if they were in different state of mind. I’ve just recently started to venture into capturing the beauty of this planet but adding my quirky little twist with each snap of the shutter. The universe is forever changing and I’m just here to enjoy the ride.
